Custom Graph Tech string-saddles and nut of charcoal-colored ‘StringSaver’ material provide enhanced sustain, and tuning stability.
Now if you are new to two-handed touchstyle, or if you are coming from bass or guitar, then on any Megatar model, select the powerful and faster-learning ‘BassBottom’ tuning to maximize the transference of what you already know ... and with the ToneWeaver NITRO, at the same time you can gain the advantage of the rich tonal enhancement that only fanned-frets can provide.
Remember: The fanned frets may sound odd to hear about; but it sounds mighty good to hear music on it! Deeper bass, a vast rich tone with more body and authority. And the melody? Sweeter, and more clear, seeming to float.
This deeper bass and more focussed high melody comes through sweet and strong using either the warm world-famous Bartolini magnetic pickups with active circuits ... OR ... selecting our custom Graph Tech ‘Screaming Ghost’ piezo sound.
