Purpose: The MaxTapper may be favored by the professional player, because of the warm tone and the wider range of sound available on the job. Although it will play prettily on ballads, the tone of its woods is less bright, and its warm and smooth tone will make it a better instrument for jazz and nightclub performers, especially those who must play melody solos. As always, the addition of common effects will make it suitable for rock players. The bass side of the instrument will be especially rich, and bass players are likely to prefer it.
