We start with 'Tone-Balance' construction, matching complementary woods to produce a rich and rounded sound.
With an asymmetrical body shape, the matched woods eliminate unwanted resonance, and so they even out the volume across the strings
To permit easy control over your sound during a performance, you have nested tone/volume controls easily accessible using either hand.
Separate volume and tone controls for your bass strings and your melody strings are provided for performance adjustment. Taking a solo? Melody volume up! Comping chords over bassline? Bass volume up, melody tone down!
Our 'Wide-Sweep' tone controls are specially designed with greater variation than normally found on guitar or bass. Make the strings sound brilliant, or round off the tone until the sound is quite mellow and muted.
